How to Be in an Investor’s Shoes to find One
Finding the perfect investor for your business doesn’t have to be that hard if you know how to make the right pitch.

If you were an investor, what do you want to see in a pitch?
Customer purchase and not just income. Investors want to know how you can get and retain customers of your business other than revenue (but of course it’s also a part). A clear and effective plan will definitely do.
They bet on the jockeys, not just the horse. Investors want proof of how you handle challenges and successes. Prove to them that you are true to your company’s vision and mission.
Be flexible. Although you have laid your plan to your investors, they still have expectations as do their partners and stakeholders. You should be flexible to handle any objections or negotiations and find the best way that would benefit both parties.
Keep this in mind. Investors want you to succeed.
Finding the right investor for your business won’t be hard as long as you know your passion and capabilities to reach success.
Know that finding the right partners doesn’t only require you to provide the right information at the right time and persuade them to invest in your business.
It is putting yourself in their shoes, consider their positions, concerns and expectations then you will find it much simpler to find an amenable outcome.
